Quick Post | Favourite Lip Balms

Quick post on same of my favourite lip balms.
But first how cute is this kitty pouch. I saw it on ebay and i couldn't resist buying it, at the moment i don't even have a use for it but it was to adorable to say no.

First up is my all time favourite Carmex. I always go back around to this one as it always works the best for me. Fixes chapped lips in no time and says on for a long while.
Burts Bees is just as great as Carmex and works just as well.
Etude House has some adorable packaging super cute and girly. This is great for summer time as it's not a harsh working as Carmex but still does the job.

Favourites; Lipbalms

HelloEmski Lipbalms

It has been a while since I did a beauty post, so I figured I would do one today on my current favourite lipbalms. These are the one that I think work the best, so far.

Carmex remains to be my all time favourite. It just does exactly what it says and works wonders during the winter. Now they even have a green tea one, which of course I had to buy but I lost it.

Blistex hasn't really been a brand I had used before but I enjoy this orange mango blast one. It smells divine! If I could I'd wear it as a perfume. It helps with dry lips and lasts a while.

Cocoa Butter is a new try for me, had this around a month and I do like it, this probably comes in last after the others. It helps but doesn't last as long but it tastes good.

Burt's Bees is never going to leave my little collection. It's on par with carmex. I find myself reaching for this along with carmex once I've having chapped lips, it does sting at first but I like that as it makes me think it's actually working.

Etude House are just good all around. Much better than some of the others I own. Does it's job.

BabyLips | Worth the hype?

I knew nothing of these before they came to the UK. But once they did i saw a lot of bloggers wanting  and talking about them. In my opinion they are over hyped. I've used other lip balms that are a lot better.

What they claim:
  • Intense care
  • 8 hour hydration
  • Protects and moisturises
  • After 1 week lips are visibly renewed and virtually reborn.
I'm not a fan of these at all and I wish I hadn't bought them. The packaging is very cute and colourful, the smell is amazing, the mint one has a subtle smell and the peach one is a sweet smell. That's about the only thing i like about them. Yes they do leave the lips soft but only on the surface. and they leave a  greasy feeling. The effects wares off pretty quick. I find myself re-applying it more often than i would with other products. So as for the 8 hour hydration claim i say it's false.

I've been using these for a few weeks now and I've noticed no change in my lips at all, if anything they have gotten worse. I won't be re-buying them or the other ones.

Update | Balmi Lip Balm Reivew

A while ago i posted this as a new find. So today i wanted to let you know that it is amazing. Not the best lipbalm but better than a lot of the others. It's moisturizing and lasts a while. It smells divine. I suffer from dry lips and this has helped a lot, the effects last so long that i don't need to apply it as much as i have done with some other lips balms. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky on the lips.

Well that is all. Have you tried these?

New Find | Balmi Cube Lip Balm

While i was just looking through Tesco not paying much attention i saw this. It intrigued me as it's a cube shape. It reminded me of the EOS one that's quite famous. But since we don't have that in the UK this seems to be a dupe for it.

The smell is amazing. It's a sweet strawberry smell. I saw it in a raspberry one too.
I love that it's SPF 15 and has vitamin e, shea butter and jojoba oil. As i've only just got it i don't know how well it will perform. It does go on nicely and feels nice on the lips. I will update once i've used it for a while.
