Planning My Christmas Outfit | With Clothes I Already Own

Of course I've left it until Christmas eve to figure out what to wear tomorrow. I'll be doing the rounds tomorrow, going to my partners mum's in the morning then in the afternoon going to my parents for lunch. So for this i want something comfy and i don't own anything festive apart from glitter tights, if they count.

I've decided on the star jumper as it's the only thing i can call festive. I'll be wearing it over the dress with the colour popped over, to make it somewhat put together. Also if it's warm inside their homes i can always take the jumper off and it's still a put together looking outfit.

Pairing it with my red Dr Martens as they're one of the few things i own which is red. That's the only way i can bring festive colours into my outfit.

One year i might actually have some king of festive clothes, but i don't want to buy them if I'll only wear them once a year. Seems like a waste of money to me. Use the clothes you already have, there will be something in there you can use.

Merry Chirstmas/Yule/Holidays and a happy new year!

Christmas Gifts | 5 I've bought

Christmas is just around the corner now. If you're still looking and have no clue what to buy for your friends and family here is 5 ideas that I've used this year.

1 - Pet socks. No not socks for those furry lived ones but socks with the pets face printed on them. I've bought my mum some this year with my dogs face on and I've got some for my partners step mum as her dog died this year. They look super cute and who doesn't love getting socks at Christmas?

2 - Soy candle. They're better for your health as they burn cleaner than other candles. We all have a candle lover in our life and I'm sure they would love a unique one hand made from etsy or somewhere similar.  Ive asked my parents for some horror soy candles from FreeSpirtGBR this year. I love horror and I can re-use the jars they come in for something else.

3 - Cruelty free handmade bath bombs or other beauty products. We all love lush but buying handmade items on etsy means you can get some cool and unique bath bombs. I've bought my friend a harry potter sorting house bath bomb from the same shop as above. From her reaction I'd say she loved it.

4 - A canvas/picture framed. I'm getting a canvas for my partners step mum with the dog on to go with the socks as I know how much she misses her and will love to put a picture of her up on the walls. I've also printed out of a picture of myself and my dog and framed it to give to my mum.

5 - Travel mug. Whether to use to travel to work with or just to keep in a bag when put and about. A travel mug helps us cut down on take away cups with helps the environment and you can get some cool ones. I've bought my partner a harry potter one as he a been using one of mine on the chilly mornings to go to work with. Just make sure it's not porcelain which is easily breakable. Even better would be to get a bamboo one.

What are you buying loved ones this year?
