Three Quick And Comfy Summer Outfits

Band tshirt and shorts is the easiest thing to to wear, not much thought has to go into it. I paired it with the rose back as the slipknot writing is in red and I thought it matched well. I've been knotting all my tops lately to make them cropped and I don't plan on stopping. I do need more band tshirts in my life and I've been looking but I'm not liking the ones I've seen so far.

Got to show my love for horror even in the summer. Paired the tshirt with a mini vest dress as its quick to throw on, though with this dress I probably would have tights on as it's quite short.

This dress is just so flowy and comfy that I will be wearing it a lot during the summer months for work. As it's pretty plain it will go with everything. Throw on a little jacket and I'm good to go.

Three Summer Outfits

Three Summer Outfits;
I get very lazy with most outfits in the summer as i just want to be comfortable and not over heat. Though it still includes all black and "spooky" things such as bats.
These are a few outfits I've warn this summer.


The first one is what i like to call my fancier summer outfit, mostly because i think this killstar top just looks more put together.

This outfit is my casual run to the shops mid-afternoon on a weekend. It has bats all over the top which i love, and i keep buying items with bats on, how many tops with bats do i need?
The shorts i wear all the time and are just simple lace black ones. I threw on the kimono as i'd had a little sunburn from a week before and didn't want to make it worse.

The final outfit is my lazyday outfit.
It was way to hot and humid the day i wore this, i couldn't be bothered to figure out what to wear and this is baggy and lose and kept me from over heating. Where the laces are there is tiny holes which also helped keep me cool. I just threw it on and knew i didn't have to do much else to make it look like a good outfit, though i did regret wearing the boots, but most of my shoes are boots.

I am now looking forward to autumn and i'm glad the temperate has already dropped, though i do have a bbq planned for next week so i hope it doesn't rain on that day,

Two Cosy Winter Outfits

Some days I don't feel like putting yo much effort into getting dressed and just want something cosy and comfy to wear. This is mostly for days when I know I won't be out of the house for to long.

I've worn both of these outfits in winter and haven't been cold thanks to layering.

For this outfit i layers a long sleve top under the jumper to keep me warm. Thankfully it wasn't a super cold day so this kept me warm. Along with the scarf and leg warmers, i also had arm warmers under the jumper that you can just about see popping out. I've found that wearing arm warmers somehow always keeps me toasty warm. The tights i'm wearing are also ultra thick knitted ones that i always wear during winter and they keep me legs warm.

This outfit keeps me warmer than the last. I've layered a jumper under a hoodies cardigan, the day i wore this it was cold and it kept me warm enough. I've worn this combination quite a few times and one of them was in the middle of december. The tights once again and thick knitted ones which keep my legs toasty warm.

Beating The Cold | Outfit

The day I went to the Christmas market was cold and snowy. As much as I love the snow the cold wasn't going to beat me.  

I layerd up under this lined denim jacket to keep warm. What you can't see is I'm wearing a thin cardigan and a hoodie underneath. The top I'm wearing is cotton so it keeps me warmer than a normal t-shirt. I'm wearing the thickest winter tights I own with a pair of socks over the top to keep my legs warm. I however couldn't do d my black gloves so had to go with those ones that don't really match. But at least i was somewhat warm despite the cold cold weather.

Pharaoh | Outfit

 

 This is probably my favourite killstar t-shirt, possibly my favourite all together and that includes ones with bats printed on. There is just something about it that i love and i'm not quite sure what exactly it is. The print is big and stands out, but that's the same with a lot of my t-shirts, it could be the eyes.

I just have a love for Ancient Egypt ever since i learnt about it in primary school. I plan to fill my house with stuff relating to it and I've already started with a Pharaoh ornament.

What I Actually Packed | Travel

In the end this is what I ended up taking for 4 nights away. As you can see the backpack I was using is pretty small. However it did fit everything I needed. I knew I'd have to carry it around Hull with me all day before I got on the ferry so I didn't want a big one.

I had my makeup in my everyday back, which only consists of concealer and eyeliner.

To save space roll clothes instead of fold. This is a handy tip when packing for a long holiday. It saves space and you can fit more in. Also to save on the amount you take and to stop over packing create outfits and take those instead. 

For example I picked necklaces etc that I knew would go with all the outfits I packed. 

I knew i was going for 4 nights so i packed 4 outfits. It doesn't look like it but i cam put the vest over one of the dresses to create a slightly different outfit, probably for travelling back home.

The day I was packing and taking these photos the lighting wasn't so great even though I was in front of a window with sun light pouring in. 

Rush | Outfit

 

 This day i had to leave the house in a rush, i had about 30minuites to get dress. Clearly with that short a time to get ready i didn't have much time to think about what to wear. I went with a trusty rub cage print top and shorts. Because it was still a bit chilly that day i added the knee high socks, which i think looks pretty cool.

My hair is looking less green in these photos, though that could be because of the back ground. I can't wait to get my hair freshly died just before my holiday. Same colour but i might do my roots a actual blue colour, if it works that is. I'll post about it if it does. Using Manic Panic as that's pretty much the only dye that works on my hair.
