3 Work Outfits

To me work outfits have to be comfortable and easily layered as it gets a little cold in the office. I'm lucky that my office is pretty relaxed and you can wear almost anything, within reason.

The first i what i wear on warmer days since it's just a jumper over a plain black vest dress. It's comfy, cosy and warm. It looks fine on it' own so it doesn't need to much in the way of accessories.

This dress i wear a lot and I've had it for quite a number of years. It's comfy and easy to change up with different accessories and cardigans.

I've layered a cropped hoodie under the super old fuzzy cardigan as it was super chilly that day and this surprisingly keeps me very warm. Added a belt and necklace to break up the all black look.

This outfit is something id wear for work in summer as the cardigan and tights are thin. Again comfy and i wear this skirt all the time. As the top has quite a loud print i though it didn't need any necklaces.

Dr Martens LEONORE FUR LINED Review

I've had them for just over a month now and I've been wearing them every time I go out.

First they are actually very warm. I wanted them mostly because my feet get cold in the office. Since I've had them that isn't a problem. Walking outside I don't feel the cold on my toes at all. They're very comfy and feel like little pillows on my feet.

Secondly there was pretty much no breaking them in. I felt no pain the first few times I wore them which is usual for new docs. No annoying blisters anywhere, no rubbing. Nothing. These have been the easiest shoes to break in I've ever had, including other brands. They've been so easy since they're faux fur lined, that's added padding and taken away all discomfort. The fit of them is narrow due to the lining. However they do stretch after wear like all docs. I got my usual shoe size and they fit fine. 

Beating The Cold | Outfit

The day I went to the Christmas market was cold and snowy. As much as I love the snow the cold wasn't going to beat me.  

I layerd up under this lined denim jacket to keep warm. What you can't see is I'm wearing a thin cardigan and a hoodie underneath. The top I'm wearing is cotton so it keeps me warmer than a normal t-shirt. I'm wearing the thickest winter tights I own with a pair of socks over the top to keep my legs warm. I however couldn't do d my black gloves so had to go with those ones that don't really match. But at least i was somewhat warm despite the cold cold weather.

In The Clouds | Outfit

Chokers, shorts and Dr Martens. I could wear them all the time and never get bored of them. It's the season of tights since the English weather doesn't know what it's doing at the moment. One day it's cold and I'm wearing a beanie the next it's warm enough for shorts again. It's not often i wear this tee since it's a weird length, not quite cropped but not long enough for jeans.

I just started a new job so my posts might be a little off until i get back into the swing of blogging and working. I'll also start a new series or posts probably called "Running To Work Outfits" Since i have to wear a uniform but work in black jeans. I don't go to work in the uniform.

Spring Grab and Go Outfits

 Since to me these outfits are slightly boring i figured they would be good as grab and go outfits. Which is basically what i did. Both days i didn't care too much about what i was going to wear, i just wanted to be comfortable since for the first outfit i went to tropical world in. If you live in Leeds or have just been there at all you will know it is VERY hot inside. The second i wore to go to the cinema to see Godzilla. Which was good!

So when i have to leave quickly i tend to grab outfits like this, simple and easy.

My first outfit for spring. That day made me happy, i really have had enough with the cold weather so i'm glad spring is on it's way and i can ditch all the layers. Although some layering is still needed since there is still a chill in the air. I feel this year i will be wearing this denim jacket a lot. So i hope you don't get fed up of seeing it in outfits. I'm happy to be able to wear socks over tights again as i love how it looks, and it's so comfy and just the right amount of warmth for spring.

Danger Mouse | Outfit

It was a little chilly the other day when i actually wore this. I had to layer the wind was so cold. I've had this jumper for a while and couldn't figure out how to wear it. One day when i was having a little freak out about not been able to make an outfit this one happened.

Bad Outfit Day Sweater

 I am in love with this jumper, when i saw it i had to have it, i didn't even think twice about it. It's just perfect for those lazy days when i have no clue what to wear or you're running late. But still want to look good! I may have found a new brand that i must have all my clothes from.

It was cold the day i wore this and everything kept me warm, the jumper is quite thick, thicker than i was expecting anyway. The trousers are fleece lined so they help battle the cold cold winds.

Can the rain just go away now? I've had enough of it.

Ack! Trying to take photos lately has been so annoying. They aren't coming out very good. I just had my hair cut too. My fringe is way to short now, it's above my eyebrows, oops. It will grow out though. I will also be going shorter soon because i killed my hair. So if anyone of you is thinking of ombreing your hair, don't.
