Three Quick And Comfy Summer Outfits

Band tshirt and shorts is the easiest thing to to wear, not much thought has to go into it. I paired it with the rose back as the slipknot writing is in red and I thought it matched well. I've been knotting all my tops lately to make them cropped and I don't plan on stopping. I do need more band tshirts in my life and I've been looking but I'm not liking the ones I've seen so far.

Got to show my love for horror even in the summer. Paired the tshirt with a mini vest dress as its quick to throw on, though with this dress I probably would have tights on as it's quite short.

This dress is just so flowy and comfy that I will be wearing it a lot during the summer months for work. As it's pretty plain it will go with everything. Throw on a little jacket and I'm good to go.

3 Work Outfits

To me work outfits have to be comfortable and easily layered as it gets a little cold in the office. I'm lucky that my office is pretty relaxed and you can wear almost anything, within reason.

The first i what i wear on warmer days since it's just a jumper over a plain black vest dress. It's comfy, cosy and warm. It looks fine on it' own so it doesn't need to much in the way of accessories.

This dress i wear a lot and I've had it for quite a number of years. It's comfy and easy to change up with different accessories and cardigans.

I've layered a cropped hoodie under the super old fuzzy cardigan as it was super chilly that day and this surprisingly keeps me very warm. Added a belt and necklace to break up the all black look.

This outfit is something id wear for work in summer as the cardigan and tights are thin. Again comfy and i wear this skirt all the time. As the top has quite a loud print i though it didn't need any necklaces.

Three Summer Outfits

Three Summer Outfits;
I get very lazy with most outfits in the summer as i just want to be comfortable and not over heat. Though it still includes all black and "spooky" things such as bats.
These are a few outfits I've warn this summer.


The first one is what i like to call my fancier summer outfit, mostly because i think this killstar top just looks more put together.

This outfit is my casual run to the shops mid-afternoon on a weekend. It has bats all over the top which i love, and i keep buying items with bats on, how many tops with bats do i need?
The shorts i wear all the time and are just simple lace black ones. I threw on the kimono as i'd had a little sunburn from a week before and didn't want to make it worse.

The final outfit is my lazyday outfit.
It was way to hot and humid the day i wore this, i couldn't be bothered to figure out what to wear and this is baggy and lose and kept me from over heating. Where the laces are there is tiny holes which also helped keep me cool. I just threw it on and knew i didn't have to do much else to make it look like a good outfit, though i did regret wearing the boots, but most of my shoes are boots.

I am now looking forward to autumn and i'm glad the temperate has already dropped, though i do have a bbq planned for next week so i hope it doesn't rain on that day,

Two Cosy Winter Outfits

Some days I don't feel like putting yo much effort into getting dressed and just want something cosy and comfy to wear. This is mostly for days when I know I won't be out of the house for to long.

I've worn both of these outfits in winter and haven't been cold thanks to layering.

For this outfit i layers a long sleve top under the jumper to keep me warm. Thankfully it wasn't a super cold day so this kept me warm. Along with the scarf and leg warmers, i also had arm warmers under the jumper that you can just about see popping out. I've found that wearing arm warmers somehow always keeps me toasty warm. The tights i'm wearing are also ultra thick knitted ones that i always wear during winter and they keep me legs warm.

This outfit keeps me warmer than the last. I've layered a jumper under a hoodies cardigan, the day i wore this it was cold and it kept me warm enough. I've worn this combination quite a few times and one of them was in the middle of december. The tights once again and thick knitted ones which keep my legs toasty warm.

What I Wear For Work | Nu Goth Outfits

NuGoth Work Outfits

 

 NuGoth allows me to show my dark side even at work. And lets be honest i'm pretty lazy and NuGoth helps with that. As much as i love the big Victorian style dresses they just aren't suitable for sitting in the office all day. And i have to adhere to some dress code. I'm pretty lucky in my office that i can have my hair dyed any colour (Green hair wooh) and pretty much wear what i want within reason. NuGoth to me is taking "Gothic" symbols and items such as the skull and adding it to modern tailoring. Hence why i love killstar so much, and sometimes looks "witchy"

The above outfit i can wear with so many different tops and shoes and appear to be a different outfit, or i'd switch the skirt out for a maxi skirt.  I love how the skulls match nicely with the moons. I added my paint splatter dr martens to keep within the black and white theme.

  

 This outfit is properly one of my more "grown up" looking outfits. Simple black dress with mesh over it, adding some printed tights so the outfit doesn't appear to flat. With these type of outfits it's easy to accessorise in many different ways. Since it was still pretty chilly i added the scarf for a bit of texture and comes in handy during the windy periods of the day.

 

This is a outfit i use many times at work. I throw on a crop top over a plain strappy black dress. It's easy to put on in the morning and is comfy for the whole day. Sometimes i even put on a standard t-shirt and tie it at the side so it gives the illusion that it's a crop top. Otherwise with this dress i'd just look like i was wearing a lot of fabric. 

The top outfit is probably my favourite, i  wore the skirt a lot when i first bought it and i love the cardigan! How do you feel about NuGoth?

Black Boyfriend Jeans | Work Outfits

 

 I recently died my boyfriend jeans black so that i would wear them more for work. It was actually hard to find outfit layouts including black ones. I figured they'd be good for the days i;m feeling lazy or wake up late, just throw on a t-shirt with them and maybe a flannel or a hoodie and i'm good to go for the day.

Summer is here and easy to throw on outfits are called for. Short shorts and more shorts, i say that yet i live in my shorts all year around. There's nothing more i want in summer than to wear my crop tops and highwasted shorts.

TV Show T-shirt Outfit | Game Of Thrones

At the moment i only have one Game Of Thrones t-shirt which disappoints me and i need to buy more. I tried to find one similar to mine but couldn't so i went with the classic house of stark top. However mine is the same colour so it still helps me think of ways to wear it. 

I was thinking of high waisted shorts with the top knotted at the side. Blue denim shorts to bring out the blue in the t-shirt, some cool looking fashion tights and some sports socks, along with hightops all for an easy spring/summer outfit. If i could right now i would wear this now.

TV Show T-shirt Outfits | American Horror Story

I've been watching Coven  again so no doubt I'll probably end up wearing the two t-shirts i own more at the moment. 
I was thinking of how to wear them now that spring is coming. 

One outfit has to include shorts as i practically live in them. Paired it with a bomber jacket, converse and clips on my shorts for a comfy easy look that i could run around in all day. 

The other with a maxi skirt as it's still freezing in spring to me, throw some leggings under them to keep warm. Of course i had to include a flannel because i love how they look with maxi skirts. Always keep my flannels unbuttoned as i personally think it looks better. The flannel to make takes away some one the girlyness of the skirt, add some docks and you're good to go. 

I try and add some colour into my outfits with shoes or bags as i don't really like wearing colourful clothes. Spring is the time i start bringing more colour out or should i say i intend to but never fully do so.  

It's hard to choose a favourite season because i like all for different reasons but it's probably coven. What's yours?

Favourite Outfits Of 2015

It seems my favourite outfits are from around the end of summer and the start of autumn. Which is no surprise to me as i love layering and wearing tights. Though I didn't get to wear the awesome tattoo tights that i have last year. Hopefully this spring/summer I'll bring out the ones that stand out more. I can't actually wait for it to get a bit warmer so I can ditch the winter coat which just covers outfits.
