Stars and Doc's | Outfit

    | Outfit: | Cardigan - Ebay | Top - CuteJapaneseFashion | Socks - Tesco | Shoes - Doc Martens |

Ack! Trying to take photos lately has been so annoying. They aren't coming out very good. I just had my hair cut too. My fringe is way to short now, it's above my eyebrows, oops. It will grow out though. I will also be going shorter soon because i killed my hair. So if anyone of you is thinking of ombreing your hair, don't.

Liebster Award 2

I was nominated for a Liebster award again by Hazel at slightlyskint. Thank you for nominating me. If you want to read my first one it's here. I'm not going to nominate anyone as it's hard finding blogs under 200 followers and i did that last time. For this one i will just answer Hazel's questions.

1. Why did you first start blogging?
I don't really remember why, i just kind of started doing it one day.

2. What's your favourite time of year and why?
Thats tricky. I'll have to go with Christmas season, even though i love summer i choose that because everyone seams to be happy and joyful around that time, and i get to shop a lot.

3. What kind of blog posts do you enjoy reading and why?
OOTD because i love fashion and enjoy seeing how people style things.

4. What is your favourite high street clothing brand?
Probably new look, it's cheap enough for me and has some nice clothes.

5. What food do you adore?
Japanese food. The ones i've had and attempted to make was just so yummy.

6. What is your favourite beauty product under £10?
Probably my SKIN79 BB cream.

7. What are your three favourite blogs to read?
8.  If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I couldn't choose. That's not fair. Probably leggings and a long tshit.

9. What is your favourite word to say?
I don't have a favourite word to say.

10. What advice would you give to anyone reading this?
Just be yourself and enjoy what you do.

Sanctuary Pore Refining Toner Review

I've been using this for at least a year now and i love it.

What it says:
This gentle Sanctuary toner helps to balance skin’s pH levels and minimises the appearance of open pores without stripping or drying skin.

You can really feel it working, it's a slight tingling feeling, nothing painful or anything though. Use as a normal toner after cleaning and before face cream. I love that this is in a spray bottle (Not shown in the photo sorry) so you can spray it directly onto the skin without the need of cotton pads and use as a topup during the day if needed. It's naturally fragranced with plant extracts and essential oils so it has a slight smell but nothing overwhelming.

I feel it has improved the appearance of my pores, not that they have gone completely. But they are less visible. It doesn't dry out the skin and is very gentle, which is good for me since i already have dry skin. It leaves the skin feeling refreshed and very soft and smoother. You do need to use a few sprays to get the cotton pad wet though. I would buy this again, actually i already have as this one has run out.

You can buy it for £9 at boots here.

Small Origins Haul | Free Offer

When i learnt origins had an offer on for three deluxe samples with any skincare purchase i jumped at the chance of trying them. I've never tried anything by origins before. I've always wanted to try the spot remover but didn't quite want to pay the price for a tiny bottle. But since all i payed for was the spot remover and got everything else for free and figured it's worth the price. Not only that but the postage was free and you got two normal samples as well.

You can chose between three packages and i chose the best youth protectors. I haven't tried them yet as i only got them yesterday but i will say they smell divine. I will be reviewing everything once I've tried them as you can just buy them anyway.

As of right now there is only that one and the anti-agers left. So if you want to try them best act quickly.

Compressed Face Masks | Cheap

You might know that i love sheet masks. But they can be a little expensive when one can cost £2+. So to find a cheap way to pamper my skin i came across compressed masks. Now these masks have nothing on them and you have to add that yourself. But when a 12 pack of them costs 99p and you can buy some toner for as little as £1.50 from boots own range it works out a lot cheaper.

I used the body shop toner i had just sitting in my room, but this was a little to thick for the mask to expand so i had to water it down a little. Unravel the expanded mask, be careful not to pull it or it will rip and apply it like any other face mask. Leave on for 15-20mins.

Doing it this way you can choose what kind of toner you want to use. Before i've used the sanctuary pore refining toner (which i will be reviewing soon) to tighten my pores. So if you have dry, greasy or blemish prone skin you can change it to fit your skins needs.

I bought my pack of 12 from ebay and you can buy the same here.

Ebay Finds | Under £3

As you probably know grunge is a trend, so these are my picks for accessories. You can never go wrong with spikes, studs, skulls and crosses. Most are similar to things i already own.
All these are simple and easy to wear. As it's getting colder here a fashion scarf is a great transitional item as they are light weight and look good with a lot of clothes. I will be buying those above knuckle rings eventually as i love them.

Home Pamper Night

With the nights getting colder and darker it's perfect for bubble baths and pampering yourself.
It's time for warmer scents now, which for me is cinnamon. It's a shame cinnamon stuff only comes around during the later months. The treacle moon bath and shower gel smells amazing and can also be used as bubble bath. To make it smell even better in the bath room i also used a cinnamon candle.

Since the cold is coming it will be harsh on the skin, so to combat this i use:
L'occtane Vanilla Flower Hand Cream.

All these will help with dry skin and work amazingly. Don't forget to take time to pamper yourself one in a while :) I have linked to most of the products.

What do you use when you have a pamper night?

Etude House GreenTea Nose Pack Review

First how cute is the packaging? Etude House always have girly packaging thought.
I've used other nose packs in the past and this isn't any different really. There isn't much English written on it. The little it does have says it removed oil and pore deep sebum.

To use:
Wet your nose with water
Remove from clear film and fasten adhesive side to nose
Remove when dry.

The way to use it is the same as all others. There is a slight smell, it's not a bad smell, but it doesn't really smell like green tea like i thought it would. It doesn't hurt when pulling it off unlike with other nose packs I've used in the past. I think it's because it doesn't stick very well. It doesn’t irritate the skin. It doesn't pull much out and i didn't notice any disgusting stuff on the strip after. Like with most nose packs i don't see much of a difference with my nose after using it. My nose does feel cleaner and softer though.

I may buy them again to stock up on them for when I'm having a bad nose day. But they aren't very good. They were cheap, as i managed to get a pack of five on ebay.

You can buy 5 for £3.15 here

BabyLips | Worth the hype?

I knew nothing of these before they came to the UK. But once they did i saw a lot of bloggers wanting  and talking about them. In my opinion they are over hyped. I've used other lip balms that are a lot better.

What they claim:
  • Intense care
  • 8 hour hydration
  • Protects and moisturises
  • After 1 week lips are visibly renewed and virtually reborn.
I'm not a fan of these at all and I wish I hadn't bought them. The packaging is very cute and colourful, the smell is amazing, the mint one has a subtle smell and the peach one is a sweet smell. That's about the only thing i like about them. Yes they do leave the lips soft but only on the surface. and they leave a  greasy feeling. The effects wares off pretty quick. I find myself re-applying it more often than i would with other products. So as for the 8 hour hydration claim i say it's false.

I've been using these for a few weeks now and I've noticed no change in my lips at all, if anything they have gotten worse. I won't be re-buying them or the other ones.
