Small Haul | Korean Beauty Products

I decided to treat myself to some more facemasks and while i was looking bought some other stuff.

As I've tried a product with snail secretion in it before and really like it i figured the facemasks would be wonderful for my dried out winter skin. The last product with snail secretion was Mizon gel cream, which you can read a review here. Also bought eye cream with snail secretion as i battle with dark circles and figured this would work. Which is the same brand as the gel cream. I bought the green tea facemaks because i know that it's supposed to be good for your skin, worth a try i figured. I've just used one and my skin feels good, i will do a review on it soon. The whipping multi cream was not as expected as it's supposed to last 5 days, guess I'll find out.

Then just some eyeliner as i know Etude House do some long lasting liners.

Have you tried Korean products?

The Face Shop | Real Nature Pomegranate Mask Review

The Face Shop Real Nature Pomegranate Mask Review

It's been a long time since i did a facemask review. The other day i was off sick so decided to use one of these to help my skin. It's from the Korean brand the face shop. I don't think i've ever used one of there facemasks.

What it says:
A skin-radiating mask sheet containing pomegranate extracts to improve skin resilience and moisturisation. It is rich in Vitamin B1 and B2 and gives elasticity and glossy look to the skin.

My face was feeling very dry that day and after the mask left it feeling hydrated, refreshed and soft. It has left my face feeling hydrated for a few days.  The essence left on my skin was quickly absorbed with some massaging and light patting. Over all this mask did what i wanted it to, left my skin soft and hydrated while leaving a cooling feeling on my face while i relaxed. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Beauty Travel Bag | Two Nights Away

I've been going on a few mini trips lately so i thought it was a good time to do a post on what i take away since i haven't done a beauty post in a while.

Near the end of September i will be going away for two nights to see Miyavi live in London, so I've already packed this. Everything i take is sample sized as i don't need anything bigger.

Body butter is in case i have bare legs, not sure how the weather will be so I'm taking it anyway.
Sheetmask because I know my face will probably get dry and clinique because i know it works well when occasionally used on my face. I have a mini review on the stuff from a while ago here

As you can see I only take the essentials, missing from the picture is eyeliner. I barely wear any makeup so I don't take much with me.

What do you take?

Korean BB Creams I Want To Try

Korean BB Creams I Want To Try, Etude Jouse, Missha, Lioele

Three Korean BB Creams i want to try. I've had these in my watch list for quite a while now. I love Etude House products but I've haven't got around to trying their BB creams yet. Soon i will and I'll start with their Precious Mineral BB Cream. Over all this seams like just a normal nice BB cream to use and it isn't too expensive. It's also supposed to include seaweed, that's interesting.

Next i want to try the Missha Perfect Cover BB cream. Ever since i started using BB creams this is one I've always wanted to try. It's one that people recommend a lot, it costs a little more than other BB creams i have. But a lot of people give it good reviews so i will at some point try it.

Lioele is a brand I've wanted to try from the beginning too. But yet again they cost a little more too. The one i want to try from them is the Beyond The Solution BB Cream. It's supposed to be long lasting, so that might come in handy in the summer. Since i hope to spend a lot of it out and about.

There is a lot more i want to try, but these are the ones i hope to buy next. I really shouldn't since i already have four in rotation. But a girl can never have to many right?

Is there any BB creams you want to try?

Four Korean Beauty Products I Want To Try

Korean Beauty Products I Want To Try

As you may know i love using Korean beauty products and i'm always looking for new ones to try. These are a few that are on my buy next list. The packaging looks simple and clean. I really like the TonyMoly pot, the leaves on the lid give a cute look without going over board.

I want to try the The Face Shop simple step melting cleanser because from the what it says it will melt through your makeup and leave your face nice and clean. Anything that makes makeup removing easier is something i need to buy.

Etude House Moistfull Cream is on my list because it's supposed to moisturise the face and create a layer that locks in moisture. Which will be amazing for my dry skin.

Tonymoly Clean Dew Broccoli Sprout Cleansing Cream also made the list because i saw a review on it and it sounded amazing. It's supposed to cleanse your skin leaving it healthy and revitalised.

I'd like to try Innisfree Green Tea Pure Lotion since it has green tea in it, which i know is good for the skin. It's supposed to revive dry stressed skin leaving it moisturised.

Is there any Korean products you want to try?

HolikaHolika Petit BB Cream Moisture Review

This is the first Holika Holika product i have used, they're a Korean brand. I must say i love this BB cream and it now might be my all time favourite, until i find others. The packaging is cute and in my favourite colour purple, my photos don't show that too much because of the lighting.

What it says:
Moisture petit BB helps make skin smooth and glossy by improving dry skin condition with Hyaluronic Acid. Makes skin youthful while effectively protecting against UV-rays.

  • Moisturising Effect - Clean Skin tone's maintenance
  • Elastic Enhancement - Anti-Aging and Wrinkle Improvement
  • Smooth Skin Texture
  • Hyaluronic Acid moisturises the skin and enhances elastic fibres with collagen and supplying nutrients to the skin cells.
As you can see this one from their Petit range is for dry skin, that's why i bought it since i have dry skin. It really does help with it. When its applied it leaves my skin nice and soft as well as hydrated. I notice the dryness on my face disappear. My face doesn't look greasy or shinny. I don't think it's a matte finish but it kind of looks like it, but that could just be my skin. I love that it protects against UV-rays and the colour isn't too dark for my skin, as you can see in the picture about. It's not the best match but it's okay.

The coverage is probably light-medium but i don't use a lot of product anyway and for me it lasts all day. You can't notice that it's on your face which is a good thing.  The only problem with this BB cream which isn't for me, but for others is that it only comes in one shade. And it's quite fair. Not the fairest of BB creams i have though.

I've been using this since i bought it a few months ago and i love it, the tube will last a while and i probably will buy it again once i run out.

Etude House GreenTea Nose Pack Review

First how cute is the packaging? Etude House always have girly packaging thought.
I've used other nose packs in the past and this isn't any different really. There isn't much English written on it. The little it does have says it removed oil and pore deep sebum.

To use:
Wet your nose with water
Remove from clear film and fasten adhesive side to nose
Remove when dry.

The way to use it is the same as all others. There is a slight smell, it's not a bad smell, but it doesn't really smell like green tea like i thought it would. It doesn't hurt when pulling it off unlike with other nose packs I've used in the past. I think it's because it doesn't stick very well. It doesn’t irritate the skin. It doesn't pull much out and i didn't notice any disgusting stuff on the strip after. Like with most nose packs i don't see much of a difference with my nose after using it. My nose does feel cleaner and softer though.

I may buy them again to stock up on them for when I'm having a bad nose day. But they aren't very good. They were cheap, as i managed to get a pack of five on ebay.

You can buy 5 for £3.15 here
